Surah Al-Muminoon (المؤمنون) translates to "The Believers". It is a Meccan Surah located in Juz 18 containing 118 Ayahs. Read below with Arabic text, Roman English transliteration, Kanzul Iman Urdu, and Hindi.
Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators.

پھر ہم نے اس پانی کی بوند کو خون کی پھٹک کیا پھر خون کی پھٹک کو گوشت کی بوٹی پھر گوشت کی بوٹی کو ہڈیاں پھر ان ہڈیوں پر گوشت پہنایا، پھر اسے اور صورت میں اٹھان دی تو بڑی برکت والا ہے اللہ سب سے بہتر بتانے والا،

फिर हम ही ने नुतफ़े को जमा हुआ ख़ून बनाया फिर हम ही ने मुनजमिद खून को गोश्त का लोथड़ा बनाया हम ही ने लोथडे क़ी हड्डियाँ बनायीं फिर हम ही ने हड्डियों पर गोश्त चढ़ाया फिर हम ही ने उसको (रुह डालकर) एक दूसरी सूरत में पैदा किया तो (सुबहान अल्लाह) ख़ुदा बा बरकत है जो सब बनाने वालो से बेहतर है

ثُمَّ إِنَّكُم بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَيِّتُونَ
Roman English
Summa innakum ba'da zaalika la maaiyitoon
English
Then indeed, after that you are to die.

پھر اس کے بعد تم ضرور مرنے والے ہو،

फिर इसके बाद यक़ीनन तुम सब लोगों को (एक न एक दिन) मरना है

ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ تُبْعَثُونَ
Roman English
Summa innakum Yawmal Qiyaamati tub'asoon
English
Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected.

پھر تم سب قیامت کے دن اٹھائے جاؤ گے،

इसके बाद कयामत के दिन तुम सब के सब कब्रों से उठाए जाओगे
Fa anshaanaa lakum bihee Jannaatim min nakheelinw wa a'naab; lakum feehaa fawaakihu kaseeratunw wa minhaa taakuloon
English
And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat.

تو اس سے ہم نے تمہارے باغ پیدا کیے کھجوروں اور انگوروں کے تمہارے لیے ان میں بہت سے میوے ہیں اور ان میں سے کھاتے ہو
Hindi
फिर हमने उस पानी से तुम्हारे वास्ते खजूरों और अंगूरों के बाग़ात बनाए कि उनमें तुम्हारे वास्ते (तरह तरह के) बहुतेरे मेवे (पैदा होते) हैं उनमें से बाज़ को तुम खाते हो
Wa inna lakum fil an'aami la'ibrah; nusqeekum mimmaa fee butoonihaa wa lakum feehaa manaafi'u kaseeratunw wa minhaa taakuloon
English
And indeed, for you in livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are numerous benefits, and from them you eat.

اور بیشک تمہارے لیے چوپایوں میں سمجھنے کا مقام ہے، ہم تمہیں پلاتے ہیں اس میں سے جو ان کے پیٹ میں ہے اور تمہارے لیے ان میں بہت فائدے ہیں اور ان سے تمہاری خوراک ہے

और उसमें भी शक नहीं कि तुम्हारे वास्ते चौपायों में भी इबरत की जगह है और (ख़ाक बला) जो कुछ उनके पेट में है उससे हम तुमको दूध पिलाते हैं और जानवरों में तो तुम्हारे और भी बहुत से फायदे हैं और उन्हीं में से बाज़ तुम खाते हो

وَعَلَيْهَا وَعَلَى ٱلْفُلْكِ تُحْمَلُونَ

Wa 'alaihaa wa'alal fulki tuhmaloon
English
And upon them and on ships you are carried.

اور ان پر اور کشتی پر سوار کیے جاتے ہو،

और उन्हें जानवरों और कश्तियों पर चढे चढ़े फिरते भी हो
Wa laqad arsalnaa Noohan ilaa qawmihee faqaala yaa qawmi'budul laaha maa lakum min ilahin ghairuhoo afalaa tattaqoon
English
And We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?"

اور بیشک ہم نے نوح کو اس کی قوم کی طرف بھیجا تو اس نے کہا اے میری قوم اللہ کو پوجو اس کے سوا تمہارا کوئی خدا نہیں، تو کیا تمہیں ڈر نہیں
Hindi
और हमने नूह को उनकी काैम के पास पैग़म्बर बनाकर भेजा तो नूह ने (उनसे) कहा ऐ मेरी क़ौम खुदा ही की इबादत करो उसके सिवा कोई तुम्हारा माबूद नहीं तो क्या तुम (उससे) डरते नहीं हो
Faqaalal mala'ul lazeena kafaroo min qawmihee maa haazaaa illaa basharum mislukum yureedu ai yatafaddala 'alaikum wa law shaaa'al laahu la anzala malaaa'ikatam maa sami'naa bihaazaa feee aabaaa'inal awwaleen
English
But the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said, "This is not but a man like yourselves who wishes to take precedence over you; and if Allah had willed [to send a messenger], He would have sent down angels. We have not heard of this among our forefathers.

تو اس کی قوم کے جن سرداروں نے کفر کیا بولے یہ تو نہیں مگر تم جیسا آدمی چاہتا ہے کہ تمہارا بڑا بنے اور اللہ چاہتا تو فرشتے اتارتا ہم نے تو یہ اگلے باپ داداؤں میں نہ سنا

तो उनकी क़ौम के सरदारों ने जो काफिर थे कहा कि ये भी तो बस (आख़िर) तुम्हारे ही सा आदमी है (मगर) इसकी तमन्ना ये है कि तुम पर बुर्जुगी हासिल करे और अगर खुदा (पैग़म्बर ही न भेजना) चाहता तो फरिश्तों को नाज़िल करता हम ने तो (भाई) ऐसी बात अपने अगले बाप दादाओं में (भी होती) नहीं सुनी
Fa awhainaaa ilaihi anis na'il fulka bi a'yuninaa wa wahyinaa fa izaa jaaa'a amrunaa wa faarat tannooru fasluk feehaa min kullin zawjainis naini wa ahlaka illaa man sabaqa 'alaihil qawlu minhum wa laa tukhaat ibnee fil lazeena zalamooo innaahum mughraqoon
English
So We inspired to him, "Construct the ship under Our observation, and Our inspiration, and when Our command comes and the oven overflows, put into the ship from each [creature] two mates and your family, except those for whom the decree [of destruction] has proceeded. And do not address Me concerning those who have wronged; indeed, they are to be drowned.

تو ہم نے اسے وحی بھیجی کہ ہماری نگاہ کے سامنے اور ہمارے حکم سے کشتی بنا پھر جب ہمارا حکم آئے اور تنور ابلے تو اس میں بٹھالے ہر جوڑے میں سے دو اور اپنے گھر والے مگر ان میں سے وہ جن پر بات پہلے پڑچکی اور ان ظالموں کے معاملہ میں مجھ سے بات نہ کرنا یہ ضرور ڈبوئے جائیں گے،

इस वजह से कि उन लोगों ने मुझे झुठला दिया तो हमने नूह के पास 'वही' भेजी कि तुम हमारे सामने हमारे हुक्म के मुताबिक़ कश्ती बनाना शुरु करो फिर जब कल हमारा अज़ाब आ जाए और तन्नूर (से पानी) उबलने लगे तो तुम उसमें हर किस्म (के जानवरों में) से (नर मादा) दो दो का जोड़ा और अपने लड़के बालों को बिठा लो मगर उन में से जिसकी निस्बत (ग़रक़ होने का) पहले से हमारा हुक्म हो चुका है (उन्हें छोड़ दो) और जिन लोगों ने (हमारे हुकम से) सरकशी की है उनके बारे में मुझसे कुछ कहना (सुनना) नहीं क्योंकि ये लोग यकीनन डूबने वाले है
Fa arsalnaa feehim Rasoolam minhum ani'budul laaha maa lakum min ilaahin ghairuhoo afalaa tattaqoon
English
And We sent among them a messenger from themselves, [saying], "Worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?"

تو ان میں ایک رسول انہیں میں سے بھیجا کہ اللہ کی بندگی کرو اس کے سوا تمہارا کوئی خدا نہیں، تو کیا تمہیں ڈر نہیں

और हमने उनही में से (एक आदमी सालेह को) रसूल बनाकर उन लोगों में भेजा (और उन्होंने अपनी क़ौम से कहा) कि खुदा की इबादत करो उसके सिवा कोई तुम्हारा माबूद नहीं तो क्या तुम (उससे डरते नही हो)
Wa qaalal mala-u min qawmihil lazeena kafaroo wa kazzaboo bi liqaaa'il Aakhirati wa atrafnaahum fil hayaatid dunyaa maa haazaaa illaa basharum mislukum yaakulu mimmaa taakuloona minhu wa yashrabu mimmaa tashraboon
English
And the eminent among his people who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter while We had given them luxury in the worldly life said, "This is not but a man like yourselves. He eats of that from which you eat and drinks of what you drink.

اور بولے اس قوم کے سردار جنہوں نے کفر کیا اور آخرت کی حاضری کو جھٹلایا اور ہم نے انہیں دنیا کی زندگی میں چین دیا کہ یہ تو نہیں مگر جیسا آدمی جو تم کھاتے ہو اسی میں سے کھاتا ہے اور جو تم پیتے ہو اسی میں سے پیتا ہے

और उनकी क़ौम के चन्द सरदारों ने जो काफिर थे और (रोज़) आख़िरत की हाज़िरी को भी झुठलाते थे और दुनिया की (चन्द रोज़ा) ज़िन्दगी में हमने उन्हें शहवत भी दे रखी थी आपस में कहने लगे (अरे) ये तो बस तुम्हारा ही सा आदमी है जो चीज़े तुम खाते वही ये भी खाता है और जो चीज़े तुम पीते हो उन्हीं में से ये भी पीता है
A-Ya'idukum annakum izaa mittum wa kuntum turaabanw wa izaaman annakum mukhrajoon
English
Does he promise you that when you have died and become dust and bones that you will be brought forth [once more]?

کیا تمہیں یہ وعدہ دیتا ہے کہ تم جب مرجاؤ گے اور مٹی اور ہڈیاں ہوجاؤ گے اس کے بعد پھر نکالے جاؤ گے،

क्या ये शख्स तुमसे वायदा करता है कि जब तुम मर जाओगे और (मर कर) सिर्फ मिट्टी और हड्डियाँ (बनकर) रह जाओगे तो तुम दुबारा ज़िन्दा करके कब्रों से निकाले जाओगे (है है अरे) जिसका तुमसे वायदा किया जाता है

۞ هَيْهَاتَ هَيْهَاتَ لِمَا تُوعَدُونَ

Haihaata haihaata limaa too'adoon
English
How far, how far, is that which you are promised.

کتنی دور ہے کتنی دور ہے جو تمہیں وعدہ دیا جاتا ہے
Hindi
बिल्कुल (अक्ल से) दूर और क़यास से बईद है (दो बार ज़िन्दा होना कैसा) बस यही तुम्हारी दुनिया की ज़िन्दगी है
Summa arsalnaa Rusulanaa tatraa kulla maa jaaa'a ummatar Rasooluhaa kazzabooh; fa atba'naa ba'dahum ba'danw wa ja'alnaahum ahaadees; fabu'dal liqawmil laa yu'minoon
English
Then We sent Our messengers in succession. Every time there came to a nation its messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another [to destruction], and We made them narrations. So away with a people who do not believe.

پھر ہم نے اپنے رسول بھیجے ایک پیچے دوسرا جب کسی امت کے پاس اس کا رسول آیا انہوں نے اسے جھٹلایا تو ہم نے اگلوں سے پچھلے ملادیے اور انہیں کہانیاں کر ڈالا تو دور ہوں وہ لوگ کہ ایمان نہیں لاتے،

फिर हमने लगातार बहुत से पैग़म्बर भेजे (मगर) जब जब किसी उम्मत का पैग़म्बर उन के पास आता तो ये लोग उसको झुठलाते थे तो हम थी (आगे पीछे) एक को दूसरे के बाद (हलाक) करते गए और हमने उन्हें (नेस्त व नाबूद करके) अफसाना बना दिया तो ईमान न लाने वालो पर ख़ुदा की लानत है
Wa ja'alnab na Maryama wa ummahooo aayatannw wa aawainaahumaaa ilaa rabwatin zaati qaraarinw wa ma'een
English
And We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign and sheltered them within a high ground having level [areas] and flowing water.

اور ہم نے مریم اور اس کے بیٹے کو نشانی کیا اور انہیں ٹھکانا دیا ایک بلند زمین جہاں بسنے کا مقام اور نگاہ کے سامنے بہتا پانی،
Hindi
और हमने मरियम के बेटे (ईसा) और उनकी माँ को (अपनी कुदरत की निशानी बनाया था) और उन दोनों को हमने एक ऊँची हमवार ठहरने के क़ाबिल चश्में वाली ज़मीन पर (रहने की) जगह दी
Wa laa nukallifu nafsan illaa wus'ahaa wa ladainaa kitaabuny yantiqu bilhaqqi w ahum la yuzlamoon
English
And We charge no soul except [with that within] its capacity, and with Us is a record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged.

اور ہم کسی جان پر بوجھ نہیں رکھتے مگر اس کی طاقت بھر اور ہمارے پاس ایک کتاب ہے کہ حق بولتی ہے اور ان پر ظلم نہ ہوگا، ف۹۸)

और हम तो किसी शख्स को उसकी क़ूवत से बढ़के तकलीफ देते ही नहीं और हमारे पास तो (लोगों के आमाल की) किताब है जो बिल्कुल ठीक (हाल बताती है) और उन लोगों की (ज़र्रा बराबर) हक़ तलफी नहीं की जाएगी
Wa lawit taba'al haqqu ahwaaa'ahum lafasadatis samaawaatu wal ardu wa man feehinnn; bal atainaahum bizikrihim fahum 'an zikrihim mu'ridon
English
But if the Truth had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their message, but they, from their message, are turning away.

اور اگر حق ان کی خواہشوں کی پیروی کرتا تو ضرور آسمان اور زمین اور جو کوئی ان میں ہیں سب تباہ ہوجاتے بلکہ ہم تو ان کے پاس وہ چیز لائے جس میں ان کی ناموری تھی تو وہ اپنی عزت سے ہی منہ پھیرے ہوئے ہیں،

और अगर कहीं हक़ उनकी नफसियानी ख्वाहिश की पैरवी करता है तो सारे आसमान व ज़मीन और जो लोग उनमें हैं (सबके सब) बरबाद हो जाते बल्कि हम तो उन्हीं के तज़किरे (जिबरील के वास्ते से) उनके पास लेकर आए तो यह लोग अपने ही तज़किरे से मुँह मोड़तें हैं
Wa law rahimnaahum wa kashafnaa maa bihim min durril lalajjoo fee tughyaanihim ya'mahoon
English
And even if We gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly.

اور اگر ہم ان پر رحم کریں اور جو مصیبت ان پر پڑی ہے ٹال دیں تو ضرور بھٹ پنا (احسان فراموشی) کریں گے اپنی سرکشی میں بہکتے ہوئے

और अगर हम उन पर तरस खायें और जो तकलीफें उनको (कुफ्र की वजह से) पहुँच रही हैं उन को दफा कर दें तो यक़ीनन ये लोग (और भी) अपनी सरकशी पर अड़ जाए और भटकते फिरें
Qul mam bi yadihee malakootu kulli shai'inw wa Huwa yujeeru wa laa yujaaru 'alaihi in kuntum ta'lamoon
English
Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know?"

تم فرماؤ کس کے ہاتھ ہے ہر چیز کا قابو اور وہ پناہ دیتا ہے اور اس کے خلاف کوئی پناہ نہیں دے سکتا اگر تمہیں علم ہو

(ऐ रसूल) तुम उनसे पूछो कि भला अगर तुम कुछ जानते हो (तो बताओ) कि वह कौन शख्स है- जिसके एख्तेयार में हर चीज़ की बादशाहत है वह (जिसे चाहता है) पनाह देता है और उस (के अज़ाब) से पनाह नहीं दी जा सकती

سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ ۚ قُلْ فَأَنَّىٰ تُسْحَرُونَ
Roman English
Sa yaqooloona lillaah; qul fa annaa tus haroon
English
They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?"

اب کہیں گے یہ اللہ ہی کی شان ہے، تم فرماؤ پھر کس جادو کے فریب میں پڑے ہو
Hindi
तो ये लोग फौरन बोल उठेंगे कि (सब एख्तेयार) ख़ुदा ही को है- अब तुम कह दो कि तुम पर जादू कहाँ किया जाता है
Mat takhazal laahu minw waladinw wa maa kaana ma'ahoo min ilaah; izal lazahaba kullu ilaahim bimaa khalaqa wa la'alaa ba'duhum 'alaa ba'd; Subhaannal laahi 'ammaa yasifoon
English
Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him].

اللہ نے کوئی بچہ اختیار نہ کیا اور نہ اس کے ساتھ کوئی دوسرا خدا یوں ہوتا تو ہر خدا اپنی مخلوق لے جاتا اور ضرور ایک دوسرے پر اپنی تعلی چاہتا پاکی ہے اللہ کو ان باتوں سے جو یہ بناتے ہیں

न तो अल्लाह ने किसी को (अपना) बेटा बनाया है और न उसके साथ कोई और ख़ुदा है (अगर ऐसा होता) उस वक्त हर खुदा अपने अपने मख़लूक़ को लिए लिए फिरता और यक़ीनन एक दूसरे पर चढ़ाई करता
[He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him].

جاننے والا ہر نہاں و عیاں کا تو اسے بلندی ہے ان کے شرک سے،

(और ख़ूब जंग होती) जो जो बाते ये लोग (ख़ुदा की निस्बत) बयान करते हैं उस से ख़ुदा पाक व पाकीज़ा है वह पोशीदा और हाज़िर (सबसे) खुदा वाक़िफ है ग़रज़ वह उनके शिर्क से (बिल्कुल पाक और) बालातर है

قُل رَّبِّ إِمَّا تُرِيَنِّى مَا يُوعَدُونَ
Roman English
Qur Rabbi immmaa turiyannee maa yoo'adoon
English
Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised,

تم عرض کرو کہ اے میرے رب! اگر تو مجھے دکھائے جو انہیں وعدہ دیا جاتا ہے،

(ऐ रसूल) तुम दुआ करो कि ऐ मेरे पालने वाले जिस (अज़ाब) का तूने उनसे वायदा किया है अगर शायद तू मुझे दिखाए
[For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back

یہاں تک کہ جب ان میں کسی کو موت آئے تو کہتا ہے کہ اے میرے رب مجھے واپس پھر دیجئے،

(और कुफ्फ़ार तो मानेगें नहीं) यहाँ तक कि जब उनमें से किसी को मौत आयी तो कहने लगे परवरदिगार तू मुझे (एक बार) उस मुक़ाम (दुनिया) में छोड़ आया हूँ फिर वापस कर दे ताकि मै (अपकी दफ़ा) अच्छे अच्छे काम करूं
La'alleee a'malu saalihan feemaa taraktu kallaa; innahaa kalimatun huwa qaaa'iluhaa wa minw waraaa'him barzakhun ilaa Yawmi yub'asoon
English
That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected.

شاید اب میں کچھ بھلائی کماؤں اس میں جو چھوڑ آیا ہوں ہشت یہ تو ایک بات ہے جو وہ اپنے منہ سے کہتا ہے اور ان کے آگے ایک آڑ ہے اس دن تک جس دن اٹھائے جائیں گے،

(जवाब दिया जाएगा) हरगिज़ नहीं ये एक लग़ो बात है- जिसे वह बक रहा और उनके (मरने के) बाद (आलमे) बरज़ख़ है
Innahoo kaana fareequm min 'ibaadee yaqooloona Rabbanaaa aamannaa faghfir lanaa warhamnaa wa Anta khairur raahimeen
English
Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.'

بیشک میرے بندوں کا ایک گروہ کہتا تھا اے ہمارے رب! ہم ایمان لائے تو ہمیں بخش دے اور ہم پر رحم کر اور تو سب سے بہتر رحم کرنے والا ہے،

मेरे बन्दों में से एक गिरोह ऐसा भी था जो (बराबर) ये दुआ करता था कि ऐ हमारे पालने वाले हम ईमान लाए तो तू हमको बख्श दे और हम पर रहम कर तू तो तमाम रहम करने वालों से बेहतर है
Wa mai yad'u ma'allaahi ilaahan aakhara laa burhaana lahoo bihee fa innnamaa hisaabuhoo 'inda Rabbih; innahoo laa yuflihul kaafiroon
English
And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed.

اور جو اللہ کے ساتھ کسی دوسرے خدا کو پوجے جس کی اس کے پاس کوئی سند نہیں تو اس کا حساب اس کے رب کے یہاں ہے، بیشک کافروں کا چھٹکارا نہیں،

और जो शख्स ख़ुदा के साथ दूसरे माबूद की भी परसतिश करेगा उसके पास इस शिर्क की कोई दलील तो है नहीं तो बस उसका हिसाब (किताब) उसके परवरदिगार ही के पास होगा (मगर याद रहे कि कुफ्फ़ार हरगिज़ फलॉह पाने वाले नहीं)
